Butter Finger Bars


I'm not quite sure why this recipe is called Butter Finger Bars, but since it comes from my mother I'll honor it and keep it the same. I ate these throughout my childhood, and let me tell you they are simple and GOOD!

1 Cup Margarine
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Cup White Sugar
4 Cup Quick Oats
3/4 Cup Peanut Butter
12 oz pkg. Chocolate Chips

Cream together margarine & sugars then add oats. Press lightly into greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Melt chocolate chips & peanut butter together. Spread over warm ingredients. Once cooled, place in refrigerator for 1-2 hours. Cut into bars and serve.
